Strength & Conditioning Foundations

Preparing Young Athletes for High Performance Strength & Conditioning


This program is focused on building the complete athlete - equipping your child with the prerequisite movement skills, body control and foundational grasp of weight training before they move into specialized athletic performance training.

Learn Foundational Strength Movements

Develop technique & strength in the key movement patterns (Squat, Hinge, Pull, etc.) using light implements (KB's, DB's,etc.).

Weight training doesn't stunt growth - however when progressed incorrectly, it can be detrimental and ultimately lead to more injuries down the line. We take pride in our slow maturation of these young athletes, ensuring they earn the right to progress in weight and difficulty. 

Develop High Levels of Bodyweight Strength

Bodyweight strength is one of the most important foundations all youth athletes can build. Hammer push up, pull up and row variations to build total control over your bodyweight and make the transition to weight training seamless. 

Learn Power & Plyometric Techniques

Begin utilizing jumping and plyometric techniques to enhance Performance. Learn the foundations of accepting force in a multitude of positions  

Have Fun Along the Way

Training is meant to be an enjoyable process. As athletes, we thrive of competition. Which is why our S&C Foundations classes involve lots of competition and group based drills.  We utilize various sprinting games to bring the best out of each other and ignite our 'inner athlete'.

Investment

Sessions are $30 (which includes entry fee into O2 Performance) or $110 for a pack of 4 sessions.
